Patchwork Corner is aptly named as it is a corner shop situated on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead but within waking distance of Apsley railway station, a direct line to Euston, London.

There are also good motorway links with junction 8 of M1, four miles away and it is only three miles from the M25, junction 20. Other attractions include Jarman Fields, an aqua park and cinema complex.

The Grand Union Canal is a few minutes walk away and also quite close is the town of St. Albans, for those who prefer culture to exercise.
