In this class we will be looking at how to use plastics to make a good sturdy fabric that has a see - through capacity and trapping capacity and that will enable us to make a cleanable zipped pouch /make up, toiletry bag etc., from our fabric. In the afternoon we will look at a simple bonded fabric with foil gilding applied to embellish it.


Requirments

Sewing machine and all feet

Size 90 sewing machine needles

Varied selection of machine threads to include rayon, cotton and metallic

½ metre of flexible plastic [ I will have some for sale]

Organza scraps

Narrow ribbons

Wools and yarns

Acrylic paints, brushes, mixing plate and water containers

Any rubber/ foam stamps [ I have a large box full that I will bring along]

8 or 10 inch zip to complement your paint and organza colours

Bondaweb

White fabric 1 fat ¼

Selection of cotton fabrics to bond shapes to white background

Foils to adhere / guild your design.
